I made a 30 minute mix for Womp! – A night I’m playing on tomorrow night in Eastbourne. Mix is a bit darker than what I’ll probably end up playing but well worth a listen if you like your electronic music with a bit of bass and a bit of fun!
I spent last night playing around with audio programming for Android and I now have the basics of a FingerPlay scratch app. There’s no interface yet and it’s not “real” scratching, but I’ll see what I can do about that when I’m back from my holiday. And I need a better loop to play with as well..

I seem to fall in love with anything 8-bit retro these days which probably stems from growing up in that era, but I guess one more post about it can’t hurt. Two kids from New York made an album using guitars, drums and a NES. The music isn’t bad in itself but I really like the 8-bit styled videos for each track.
This surely must be the best and the end of all youtube mashups.
