FingerPlay MIDI version 0.9

Version 0.9 of FingerPlay MIDI adds a few more options for each MIDI controller in the layout XML file. You can now set whether it should send note presses or controller changes and which channel and controller number it sends it on. I’ve added some comments to the default XML file which I hope is enough to get everyone started.

There’s also basic support for the Android hardware sensors courtesy of Matias Wilkman, but because they’re still very much work-in-progress they’re not enabled by default. If you want to try them out just uncomment the last screen in the default XML file.

Please let me know if there are any problems with this new version, I’m flat20 on Twitter.

FingerPlay Youtube Demonstration

I should have done a video showing off my Android application FingerPlay MIDI myself, but I simply haven’t had the time for it yet. Luckily Mooreshire did it instead, which leaves me with more time to fix bugs. So a big thanks to him for posting this quick demo!
